【作品解説】

『たぬき』はクランアイリーンの5枚目のライブアルバム。手描きのジャケットからバンドのモードが変わっているのが感じとれるが、それは未発表曲あるいは即興曲が占めているA面に、より顕著に現れている。終始霞のかった「A1」、Pink FloydがSister Rayを演奏しているような「登山」、活動を終えた生命のように静まり返った「元旦」など、『Milk』で示されたミニマルでクラウトな側面がより突き詰められた作品になっている。

“Tanuki" is the fifth live album by Klan Aileen. The hand-painted cover shows that the band is in a different phase. Side A, which is dominated by unreleased or improvised staffs, has a more minimal and krautic side that was shown in "Milk", such as the hazy "A1", A2 "Tozan" that sounds like Pink Floyd playing “Sister Ray”, and the quiet A3 "Gantan" that sounds like a life that has ended. It is a work in which the minimal and krautic aspects presented in "Milk" are pushed further.
