“Uguisu" is the sixth live album by Klan Aileen.
The previous album "Tanuki" was a work that captured the process of obscure transformation ob the band, Whereas
"Uguisu" clearly shows the framework of the next album to come.
The road to "spiritual punk" that they talk about in their own radio is shown in the live version of "Minneapolis" (released in 2019) included in this album.
The 12-minute long unreleased song "Kami・Akuta・Rei” at the beginning of the album evokes indigenous Japanese animism in its title, and shows a new side of the band in terms of rhythm and composition.


/// アルバム解説 ///

『うぐいす』はクランアイリーンの6枚目のライブアルバムである。
前作『たぬき』がバンドのトランスフォームする過程をおぼろげに捉えた作品だったのに対し『うぐいす』は来るべき次の作品の骨格がはっきりと確認出来るまでになっている。
彼らが自身のメディアで語る「スピリチュアルパンク」への道は今回収録された「ミネアポリス」(2019年リリースのシングル)のライブバージョンにて示されている。
冒頭の未発表曲「神・芥・霊」はタイトルからして日本の土着的なアニミズムを感じさせ、リズム面でも構成面でも彼らの新しい側面を感じられる。
